   Suzuha from 2036 appears at the Radio Building and asks Okabe to return to July 28, save Kurisu, and prevent the time-machine paper from leaving Japan.

2. Suzuha Uses C204 to Explain World War III

   Suzuha explains that the time-machine paper causes World War III on Beta and billions die. Her mission is to help Okabe save Kurisu and reach the Steins Gate world line.

3. Okabe Takes C204 to July 28 for the First Time

   Encouraged by Mayuri and Itaru, Okabe enters C204 with Suzuha and travels from August 21 to the day of Dr. Nakabachi’s conference.

4. Kurisu and Dr. Nakabachi Fight over the Time-Machine Paper

   Kurisu shows her father the paper, hoping to repair their relationship. Driven by jealousy and obsession, Nakabachi tries to steal it and escalates to a knife threat.

5. The First Attempt to Save Kurisu Fails

   Okabe returns to July 28 but, amid the struggle, personally causes the result he had already observed and loses the will to try again.

6. Okabe Returns to August 21 Traumatized by Killing Kurisu

   After the failed rescue, Suzuha brings the injured and broken Okabe back to August 21. He refuses another attempt, believing he will only repeat Kurisu’s death.

7. Mayuri Restores Okabe’s Will to Try Again

   Mayuri prevents Okabe from giving up completely and reminds him how often he has stood up for his friends. He becomes willing to inspect the previously unreadable video mail.

8. Okabe Opens the Video Mail from His 2025 Self

   After the first failure, Okabe can finally play the video from his future self and learns that he must deceive his past self and the world rather than erase the observation.

9. Okabe Realizes the Metal Upa Saves the Paper from the Airport Fire

   The future video explains that the Metal Upa inside Nakabachi’s envelope triggers security screening, keeping the paper out of the cargo-hold fire before it reaches Russia.

10. Future Okabe Explains Operation Skuld

    Okabe in 2025 tells his 2010 self not to deny the three weeks he experienced, but to deceive his past self and the world by preserving the observation of Kurisu collapsed while actually saving her.

11. Okabe Returns to July 28 for the Second Time

    Knowing the full operation, Okabe boards C204 with Suzuha again to replace the Upa and rescue Kurisu on the same date.

12. Okabe Uses His Own Blood to Fake Kurisu’s Death

    Okabe saves Kurisu and renders her unconscious, then stages the scene with his own blood so his past self will still see the remembered pool of blood.

13. The Ordinary Upa Causes Nakabachi’s Paper to Burn in the Cargo Hold

    Okabe first makes Mayuri receive an ordinary Upa. With no metal object in Nakabachi’s envelope, the paper avoids screening and burns in the flight’s cargo-hold fire.

    Future Okabe sends the operation into the past, instructing his earlier self to deceive the world, preserve the observed appearance, and keep Kurisu alive.

15. Arrive on the Steins Gate World Line

    Kurisu and Mayuri both survive, and the time-machine paper does not become the direct trigger for the known war. Okabe reaches a world line with an unknown future.

16. After Hospitalization, Okabe Prepares Badges for the Lab Members

    Okabe is hospitalized for the injuries sustained during the operation. After recovering, he prepares lab-member badges and checks on his friends in the new world line.

17. Okabe Reunites with the Surviving Kurisu in Akihabara

    Okabe encounters the rescued Kurisu on the street. Although she lacks complete Alpha memories, she experiences déjà vu about him and the ways they addressed each other.
