   Mayuri obtains a rare Metal Upa from a capsule machine at Radio Kaikan and stores it in an envelope.

2. Dr. Nakabachi’s Time-Machine Presentation

   Okabe and Mayuri reach Radio Kaikan for Dr. Nakabachi’s presentation. Nakabachi repackages existing time-travel theories as his own claims, and an anomaly on the roof soon interrupts the event.

3. Kurisu Asks What Okabe Was Trying to Say

   Okabe meets Kurisu for the first time in a Radio Kaikan corridor, but she stops him as though they have met before and asks what he had been trying to tell her.

4. Okabe Follows the Scream and Finds Kurisu Collapsed

   After Dr. Nakabachi’s presentation is cancelled, Okabe hears a scream inside Radio Kaikan and follows it to find Kurisu lying in a pool of blood.

5. The First D-Mail Rewrites the World Line

   Okabe sends Itaru Hashida a message stating that Kurisu was attacked, but the active PhoneWave delivers it several days into the past.

6. A Time Machine Appears at Radio Kaikan After Reconstruction

   After the first message is sent, Okabe loses his balance under Reading Steiner. When he recovers, the crowds have briefly vanished, the presentation has been cancelled, and a satellite-like time machine is lodged on the roof of Radio Kaikan.
