What happened
STEINS;GATE 0 supplies the production history of the unexplained video seen in the original game. Its contents combine research, psychological conditions, and time-machine technology accumulated across many failed world lines.
Cause
Both Promised Rinascimento and Vega and Altair have established their necessary conditions.
Action / decision
Okabe records the video D-Mail and arranges for it to become decodable only after the first rescue attempt fails.
Consequence
Okabe in 2010 can execute Operation Skuld, while future Okabe prepares to leave 2025.
