The Delayed Departure Leaves Suzuha's Time Machine Incompletely Repaired
Because Okabe’s earlier D-Mail delayed Suzuha’s departure, the time machine is damaged during a thunderstorm. Itaru attempts repairs but cannot completely eliminate the malfunction.

What happened
This is not an unrelated mechanical accident. By keeping Suzuha for the gathering, Okabe changes her planned departure and exposes the machine to the storm that damages it.
Cause
Okabe’s D-Mail stops Suzuha from leaving at the scheduled time.
Action / decision
Itaru rushes to repair the damaged machine, while Suzuha still decides to carry out the mission to 1975.
Consequence
The machine can reach the target year, but the incomplete repair causes Suzuha to lose her memory upon arrival.
